My journey with Dani began 2 years ago in a small Italian town in Tuscany, my personal journey to “Just a Dream, Love in Pursuit” began with a journaling exercise my counsellor suggested to understand the ptsd I was having over the break up of our relationship. As a published author she felt my journaling could not only help me to “move on” but it showed that I had the ability to write in a way that was real, heartfelt, and would be of interest to others. I never intended to share my journaling of our story, but after a few meetings with her team at Amazon and a lot of encouragement from Linda I decided that I needed to to finish and ultimately share my experiences with Dani. I had many smiles and great memories as I wrote, and also many questions and heartaches of our time together. It’s amazing to me how intense and life changing our short time together was for me. I’m still not quite myself, but my heart is opening and hopeful for the future. For you readers of our story, it’s all real, with feelings, excitement, passion, highs, lows, good, bad, and a crazy ending. Enjoy.
